Stark County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm current custody, release anyone, post bond, retrieve an official file, or answer for the Sheriff's Office, a police department, a court, or corrections agency. Contact the responsible office directly.
Looking for a Stark County Record?
The Stark County Sheriff's Office is the first routing point for county jail custody, booking records, and a photo request. No separate booking-records line or public roster was published on the reviewed page, so use the non-emergency number and ask for the correct custodian.
Stark County Sheriff's Office
130 W Jefferson St, PO Box 610
Toulon, IL 61483-0610
Non-emergency: (309) 286-2541
Fax: (309) 286-6091
Administrative hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Emergency: 911
For a written public-record request, describe the person, agency, date range, arrest or booking record, and any photograph requested. The County FOIA form is a County Clerk form and model, not a Sheriff-specific requirement.
Where Each Question Belongs
Use the office that creates or keeps the record. These routes are more reliable than sending one broad message to an unrelated department:
- For a booking record or available photo, contact the Sheriff's Office or the arresting municipal department. The county records page explains the request fields and custody limits.
- For a possible Stark warrant, contact the Sheriff at (309) 286-2541 and the Circuit Clerk at (309) 286-5941. The Clerk can explain the public case path, but Judici is not a live warrant confirmation.
- For charges, hearing dates, case minutes, or disposition, use the Stark County Circuit Clerk and its Judici link.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Illinois Department of Corrections Individual in Custody Search. It is not a county jail roster.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE locator, each with its own limits.
There are no verified separate detention-facility pages or city booking feeds in this project. Wyoming, Toulon, and Bradford city pages route municipal questions to the police contact or county Sheriff, then to the court record when the case continues.
Other Stark County Offices
The County Clerk's FOIA contact is at 130 W Main Street, PO Box 97, Toulon, IL 61483, phone (309) 286-5911, fax (309) 286-4039, and clerk@starkco.illinois.gov. Use that office for County Clerk records and FOIA routing, not as a substitute for a Sheriff booking file.
The Circuit Clerk is at PO Box 426, 130 West Main Street, Toulon, phone (309) 286-5941, fax (309) 286-4039, and circuitclerk@starkco.illinois.gov. Its listed hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., closed holidays. Contact details can change, so confirm before visiting.
Before Sending a Request
Include a name, approximate arrest or booking date, arresting agency, municipality, and the exact record fields needed. Ask for electronic copies when possible. If the response is delayed, redacted, or denied, request the statutory basis and the non-exempt portion. A city police report and a county jail intake record may be held by different custodians.
Routine records questions should go to the published non-emergency route. Use 911 only for an emergency. Current custody and release can change quickly, and a news story or old index cannot confirm either one.
